Anyone can become a member or LIRA we all know that. But apparently he never read the LIRA By-Laws:

ARTICLE V - Section 4, Paragraph 1, (L) States the following.

Any member who performs an act or acts which are contrary to the spirit, aims or intent of LIRA and/or its by-laws shall have membership suspend or revoked by a unanimous vote of the Board of Directors. Prorated membership dues will not be reimbursed.

As of today Michael Stern holds the shortest term as a LIRA member on record.

We could **** this guy off even more and have the LIRA board purchase our next group buy since we are non for profit and really stick it to this guy. I loved that he had the balls to tell his supplier (Alex) who and who not to sell to and that we probably buy more than he does.

Is it true that Alex is stopping group buys or should this be asked in our private forum??

Ok long story short. Mike Stern is ok. I didnt have the whole story nor did anyone else till recently. Hes being trashed on MR and that was his reply. If i was in his shoes i wouldnt be too happy either with "us" I had a long phone conversation with him today and hes really a nice guy. He never called us all a------ and meant it. Hes just frustrated with the events of the last week. How many times have one of us said something out of anger that we couldnt take back? I know ive done my fair share........

Eric reinstate his membership. If you have any questions call me and ill explain the whole story to you.

Everyone else please let this issue die and put it to bed. Hes not a bad guy and we may want to do business with him. I guess all im asking is to give him a fair shot.

Bill or Larry if you could close this thread it would be apreciated.

Sorry Chris. Nice guy or not but he opened his mouth to the wrong group of people.

I will never buy from him ever. Just due to what has transpired.

I wish him the best in his newfound business. But if he wants to know how to run a business tell him to ask Tony. He’ll give him some pointers on customer service.
