Frag Swap - Chattanooga, TN - 8-5-06

The Frag Swap will be at Chattanooga State again this year on August 5th 2006.

If anyone is interested in participating we have plenty of space and encourage everyone to participate. Please let me know if you are interested in a table/booth. The event is completely free. Please help us spread the word and make this event a success.

Damn... I have to go to a family reunion (the fun of seeing a bunch of relatives I can't even remember and that I haven't seen in 5+ years). Actually, it won't be that bad, but I'd much rather go to the swap and give eyebedam a ride so I could get some delicious tequila.

There are a couple nice hotels next to Hamilton Point mall that are close to the college and have plenty to do around it..

I'll check with our travel agent at work on monday and figure out which one it is we use.. I can't remember the name off the top of my head.

Do you prefer nice, affordable, etc...

I am not sure how much it is a night, we got a discount b/c my mom works for the company that owns the property there. Just my 2 cents worth, btw I hear you may be looking for a RR 90. Wow! Looks like great vendor response and participants this year!

Thanks to everyone in our club who's been working since March to make this a great event for everyone!

live rock -- 50 pounds with coraline and Xenia growing in it. I also kept adding pods so the rocks are teaming with pods for a mandarin fish to live on. $3/lb

non-live rock -- 40 pounds .50/lb
Arag Alive live sand-mixture of fine and ultra fine grain

55 gallon thick glass tank (unknown brand)
ProClear 75 filtration with skimmer
VHO 4 bulb light system (homemade) with 2 actinic and 2 superwhite URI

I see glasscages is gonna be there and was wondering if someone could pick me up a glass 33 gal. aquarium (48x12x13). If he has some, they are $50 and I could try and meet someone and give them the cash or pay tomorrow. Or pay for it at the meeting this month. I'll be good for it.

I am still on a adrinalin rush! Eveyone was baggin up there stuff and leaving before I shopped! Whew! When you get there almost 2 hours late all the good stuff was gone, all the "cheap frag shoppers" were spent out and leaving, and I was sweating having to bring it all back home! I probably had 50 fraggs all $5-15 to hit that market hard but oh well. Hope everyone likes what they got from me. For future referance guys it takes HOURS and Hours to bag stuff up! Great time and great planning on the event sponcers part. Hate I missed all the frag demos and speakers. I wanted some of those zoas they fragged too...
