Hello,

I just got 2 more powerheads for my 75. Seio 620's. They also came with the Sure Grip 50 magnetic PH holders.

I also have a MaxiJet 1200 with a Hydor rotating head.

Can someone help me with the location of these 3 PH's...along with the positioning of the outlet hose of my sump pump. As you can see in the pic below...I have it aimed at the glass in the rear. I'd guess at a 40 degree angle.

I know at least one of them should be somewhere??? slightly over the sandbed.

Here is a picture of my current rockscape. If that should be re-arranged - please offer suggestions.

Thanks again,
Dave

Well the thing is that each tank is unique in water movement, what you need to do is find any "stagnate" areas or sections with poor flow. Aim accordingly :)

Thanks. Should they be aimed at/towards each other, aimed at the front glass...or, should I be creating a circular current in the tank?

I am not a fan of the circular thing, I like as turbulent a flow as I can get, so aiming towards each other works for me on 2 and then at the walls of the tank with 2. This is just a starting point and from there you can decide if that is working. The "Hydor" rotators are supposed to work pretty well but I have not tried one yet.
