Hello all,
My beautiful fan worm recently crawled out of its tube and sat in the corner for a few days... still alive... and looked like it had two plumes...
I was away for a day, during which time it apparently started to disintegrate down the middle...
When I returned I could see two plumes behind some of my liverock, but that's all I could see...
Within a few days, the plumes were obviously dead/detached...
I never found the worms though.
Tank inhabitants: A. ocellaris, hermit crab, turbo snail, LTA
The anemone was recently added and may have touched one of the plumes.
Any ideas why I can't find the worms themselves?
