Hi reefers,

What pump flow rate should I use for my newly purchased Arctica DBE200 1/4hp chiller? It's Rio 20HF suitable? How about noise level for this pump?

I intend to connect the Rio HF20 pump from Sump to Chiller than back to Main Tank (2.5*2*2.5ft).

Can Anyone advice...?

Thanks

The info on the 20HF pump rates it at 870 GPH at 6 foot of head. At your 7+ foot, the flow should still be 600-700 GPH which would be in the range of recommended flow for the chiller (480-1900 GPH). I have no personal experience with the HF pumps for noise levels, but other feedback leads me to believe it will be a tolerable level inside a cabinet stand.
