I am still trying to find a place that has either Southdown or OldCastle playsand...

There seem to be infrequent sightings, but I REALLY need some of this sand!

Anyone know where to get it?

Any have any luck finding some? I saw some white kolorscape sand at HD but haven't gotten over there to test it. I'm looking for some myself to convert my 50 reef from crushed coral to sand. Thanks!!

The kolorscapes from HD should test out o.k. Mine passed the vinegar test and it says right on the bag made by Old Castle.

I just picked up 250 pounds in Madison this weekend if you are still looking for some, they have tons of it.

I ended up buying the kolorscape sand at Home Depot. I'm pretty sure it's ok. It bubbles in vinegar, soft to the touch, and most importantly the package says in bold letters not for aquarium use :D
