i have a sebea and a saddle tha have brown shades to them, it started off with my white saddle and some people told me that he was probly getting his color back.
i have a 150 watt hylide at 7500k, bright as he|| though...
2 aquaclear 4000 powerheads, xp3 filter, jebo 180 skimmer.
nitrite 0
amonia 0
nitrate 5(with a water change everyday i can't get it down any further)
ph 8.2/8.3
salt 1.022 (1.024 normally but just toped it off)
temp 76
any suggestions... the anemones havn't lost any size they are not shrinking up, i feed them silversides every 3-4 days

could it be zooxanthellae algae does anybody know if it start to color your anemones?

Most anemones are colored in the wild. The white is from the loss of zooxanthellae during shipping. When the sebae anemone starts to thrive in the aquarium it will regain a brownish color.

Zooxanthellae is typically a brownish color, so that is a reasonable assumption. A pic would be helpful.

Seems like they are coloring up very nicely. This color change is a good indicator of (regaining) health.

Mine went brown as it got healthy, we have a sebae as well.
There's a very nice picture of one on the threads. This will give you a good idea of what to expect.
