Just wanted to post a little picture diary, this nano has been through a lot of changes recently :)

After my saddleback clown pair died, I had no idea what to do with their tank.

First, it was empty (except for the clean up crew and a few mushrooms) and I asked for ideas...

Then a friend needed to find a new home for his ocellaris, which I happily provided. Here's Lucy...

Then I added some rock and corals from the other tanks after deciding to make this a little softy tank.

That's a species of Caulerpa as far as I can tell, it's just an incredibly tiny variety. I really like it, it's there on purpose ;)

At the same time, Lucy got two new roommates - the pistol and goby from my 30g...

It seems to be doing well so far. I moved the goby and his shrimp so I could place some corals on the sand in my 30g without risking them getting buried. I was concerned they'd be stressed in a smaller tank, but realized that floor area is probably all that matters to these two - their old tank had a 24" x 12" footprint, this one is 24" x 14" so they've actually gained some room. There's also more sand to play with, and they're taking full advantage! I've got a little HOB filter stuffed with floss on the tank to clear up the dust, hopefully once they relax a little I can remove it.

I love the shot of your goby and pistol. It messes up my head. I cannot decide between a goby/shrimp or a jawfish.

Nice looking tank, keep up the good work!

Thanks guys :)
Jordan55 - I think in a big tank with deep sand I'd go for a group of jawfish, but if it's for your 25g I'd go for a goby/pistol pair, as long as you don't mind having your sand constantly rearranged. Mine have been together for the better part of a year and I've never seen them really stop - construction occasionally slows, but there's always maintenance to be done :)
