Are you asking about what fish would be good in a 29g, or what order you should add your fish in?
What are you looking to keep? Good additions would be firefish, blennies, gobies, basslets, jawfish, small wrasses (e.g. sixline), chromis, cardinalfish.

I am looking for fishes that will get along with everything in my tank and fishes that are active not hiding around

I cast my vote for a fridmani dottyback. Mine has been a model citizen, not harassing my pistol shrimp, hermits, goby etc. He's always out patrolling "his" rock. he was initially very shy, but that went away after 2 weeks. He's also very colorful etc.

The ones on my list are generally peaceful. Gobies and jawfish like to have a safe spot / cave / hole and are more prone to hide, but the others are all generally free swimmers.
I didn't include pseudochromis (dottyback) or damsels on my list because they are frequently aggressive. YMMV.

yup, i understand all too well that dottybacks can be aggressive. however, the fridmani is generally very peaceful. much more so than clowns when they start to get bigger. jm2c

Good to know. I had always heard that they were all aggressive. I may pick one up if I see one at the LFS.
