Do i need a light

Well my old tank had a leak and i had to return it. It was an eclipse tank with a built in light. I decided to get a all glass tank but it didnt come with a light. I about a month or two im getting a MH but untill then can my tank live with out a light(there is natural light). all i have is 20 pounds live rock and a clown fish this is a 29 gallon tank want do you think.

if you dont have any corals then i dont think it will be a problem.

ok thanks i really didnt want to spend 50 dollars on a light when im getting a good one in about a month

i've seen somebody keep a FOWLR system for a year with only ambient room lighting.

it wasn't very pretty, but the fish seemed happy enough

will i get algea or anything bad with no lighting.
