I'm looking to get a GEO because I've heard or read 95% good reviews on them. Can anyone recomend where to buy one? I've looked at my usual sites and they're sold out . Marine Depot and Premium Aquatics. I dont even think MD had em. Any help would be greatly appreciated... just looking for a trusted, and fair priced supplier.

Thanks

you usually have to get on a waiting list to get one. Look at the www.geosreef.com website and it has a listing of who sells them. I'm currently waiting on one.

best places to get one are
premiumaquatics.com
saltycritter.com
phishybusiness.com

yeah, I called phishybusiness.com as their web site said they had them in stock. I called and yes they had them in stock but without the eheim pumps. What good are they without the pumps that go with them?

Can you just order the pump from somewhere else?

i asked and the lady said i had to order it as a complete unit. so in other words i'd have to wait till they got the pumps in.

I just set up my GEO reactor a few days ago. It took about 3 weeks to arrive. I purchased it from The Reef Stop. I am quite impressed by how well built it is (blows my Deltec skimmer out of the water in the sturdiness department.)

yeah, I was shocked at the thickness of the acrylic on my Deltec. I can honestly say it performs very very well so no complaints.

I guess I'll just wait on the GEO as it sounds like it's well worth it.

You won't be dissappointed. Mine has been set up for several weeks and I'm quite pleased. It was easy to set up and dial in. Great craftmanship and customer service as well.

How easy is the GEO reactor to set up? And what is the breakin period? Is it difficult to dial in and maintain settings?
