Hello all - I gave up my two reef tanks couple years ago because I was spending so much time away from home visiting my fiance (at the time, now my wife) and so on and so forth.. we lived in different towns, but now I have moved to her town, in Marin County, CA. I have been having all these dreams about reef tanks since I gave my tanks up two years ago, and after getting back from Belize having spent snorkeling on some of the most amzing reefs in the world, I have decided to get back into the hobby. I do miss it so. This time around I have a much more ample budget and want to "do it right". I am looking at a tenecor 85 tall with stand + canopy and external WD + skimmer and some good power compact lighting.. I have a nice 36" wide spot carved out for this tank, otherwise I'd go with a 48" unit. I reckon I /can/ order all of this via the web, but am wondering what are good places in Marin for live and dry goods?? I have googled a bit, but that can be hit and miss. I would rather hear some opinions from reef keepers in my area who they think are good shops to buy from. Who has good in house stock of dry and live goods? good prices and good peeps? Marin County, CA.. I can go into SF (the city) easily also, but staying in near Corte Madera and San Rafael woud be optimal. Any ideas?? Thanks a bunch!! :D

Since you apparently love your wife more than your reef tank no one here will help you on general principle. ;)

wow that's a great attitude.. ok then.. I guess I am on my own.. but another note, was was not as cut and dry as you make it sound.. my tank and components needed a big overhaul.. so I decided I would part it out and start over in my new town when I was feeling settled enough... anyways.. I'll just figure this out on my own..

Hey, just kidding. On a serious note, your post would be better titled something like "Any good reef shops in Marin County?" if you want the right people to respond...
