I just got some as a gift and I've never seen anyone else have them. Any idea what they would go for in a lfs? Heres the picture.

I bought a rock with about 100+ of the same polyps on it for $36 at a LFS.

I still don't have a good pic, but I have a light pink star in the center of deep purple with brown skirts. I'll try to get the camera to cooperate tonight.

Oh yea, you see in the very center of the picture, one polyp over there is a tiny anemone the size of the polyps. Anyone know what kind it is? I had one come on another one of my zoo rocks and never figured it out. He dissapeared after I moved him off.

Im interested if anyone has distinct stars like some of the ones on in my pictures, different colors and such.

looks like a mojano or tulip anemone.. essentially harmless, unless you see your zoos closed up near it. I just use kalk paste or Joes Juice to nuke them when I see them..

I have the same ones. They look different under other types of lighting to.

Awesome, I thought it was a majano because the one I had before turned green for a little bit like a majano looks but then turned brown the next day. To small to tell though.

Definately a manjo, I have 1 at the side of one of my zoo colonys but it has never moved off or multiplied.

I found some decent pics, but none are recent. They are all from when we first bought the tank. I'll try to get some better one's but our camera is a piece of poo! :D

Here's under just regular fluorescents. They were the only lights we had the first week we got the tank.

Here's under actinics and fluorescents:

And here's actinics only:

Some of them have began to morph and have lost the star pattern, but they have developed green mouths.

Pretty nice zoas. Do zoos with patterns in the center eventually morph into just a blob? Or is this just in some cases.

Nice zoos chip! They look like they have a sun in the middle. Very cool.
