How much room to leave for Aquafuge

I'm setting up my new 65 gallon tank and eventually i'd like to add a medium Aquafuge. I read that it's 4.5 inches deep but if anyone has one i was wondering how much space you'd recommend leaving between the tank and the wall for working room so I don't have to move the tank later.

I'm in the same boat, and plan to leave 9-10 inches, to give me plenty of maneuvering room behind the tank.

I left 6" and it's pretty tght trying to actually get stuff in and out back there - 9-10 is probably better

I built my stand and canopy to fill teh space, FWIW
