I have a 55Gal w/ 30lbs LR. (in the process of adding another 40 more, but things are on hold for the moment.) I went out of town for a few days, trusting a friend to deal with my tank, a simple task...of so I thought....when I came home the temp was 84 deg and the tank was green! I have gradually gotten the temp under control, without losing any livestock, but the hair in the tank is out of control. I am using RO for all water, and changing 10-20 gal. once a week now, in hope that this will help, does anyone have any suggestions, I am running a phosban reactor, to deal with any phosphate issues, what else can I do short of starting over? this is unreal. thanx for any suggestions.

I had a bunch green hair algae when I first started in salt water. I found the same advice given in this article, and it really worked for me.

It is kind of a pain in the rear, but I promise you, IT REALLY WORKS!
