View Full Version : Nitrate & Phosphate read 0,But ?

But I still have an algae problem. Are the readings false,because the algae is consuming the nitrates,and phosphates so fast,that I can't get a reading ? Ted:confused:

They are not false reading, but you should still assume that they are getting all the nutrients they need by sucking it up fast.just as growing macroalgae can reduce nutrients to undetectable levels. So going after the nutrients is the best way to go.
