im looking to buy an aquapod 24 but i was wondering if i could take apart my aquamedic pendant and put it into the hood that it comes with?? I dont want to hang the pendant and go with an open top look. i also have a hang on the back skimmer is there a way to make that unit work as well??? if not has anyone made a different canopy for the aquapod 24??? and if you had some pics that would be great

its a 150watt HQI bulb should i worry about the heat and how would i solve that?
