Anyone have any larger size tanks they want to give away? I am looking for something about the size of a 55 gallon. Maybe even a 40 gallon long. I just need something bigger and don't have the money for it right now.

Ben,

Sorry I didn't get back to you tonight... Friday will work better.

If you don't get any responses, check out glasscages.com. I just picked up a 50 tall (36x18x17) for $70. Stands and canopies leave a little to be desired, but the tank quality is pretty good. Still some sloppy silicone, but you can clean that up if needed. I'm using mine as a sump, so appearances are not a problem. He is using plastic frames now on the tanks, which looks better than some of the older styles I've seen. Can't beat the price.

Ben; As a fellow Firefighter, I have a real nice 55gallon with stand I will give away to you. It's a metal stand, and it wouldn't take much to cover it with plywood, or even build a new stand.

I don't know about all that. I just enjoy helping folks out when I can. This was a really good oportunity to clear a tank out before it got set up! Four tanks is enough wouldn't you say?

Four... Rookie;). If you've got one, you've got to have at least six. (Shhh. I've got the wife believing it;).

This has got to be worse than when I started in Radio control hobbies several years ago. :D

Ben, you are more than welcome. Wish you didn't have to work either. You could have stayed for the meeting. I hope it helps out. MTRC's members have been so good to us in this hobby, I just had to give back to the hobby. I think that's what it is all about anyways. Each other helping each other how and when we can. Just please enjoy the tank, and the hobby!

So true. My biggest problem is figuring out what addiction to spend the money on.

What type of R/C are you into? I am into planes and helicopters mainly.
