View Full Version : Fluval 304 or Emperor 400???

have been running the Emperor but was given the Fluval for free. Would the Fluval be better to run and if so what media would you recomend???

canister filters work great if kept clean. hang-on filters are easier to maintain, but keep the mechanical filter in the canister clean or it well produce nirates and phosphates.

How often would you recomend cleaning the canister?

run canister with LRs and put chemi-pure in the hob.
