Is anybody keeping these girls in small groups? I just got a female. I was considering getting a few more later. Maybe a total of 3 or 4. I know they are the more aggresive species. Would they kill each other off in a small group? I was considering all females and letting 1 change to male on it's own.
Does this sound OK? Is or has anybody had something similar? I did have a single male for over a year, until a power outage got him. So, I could keep her by herself. Any opinions or experience.

I have 5 that I got about 2-3 months back. One seems to be making the change to male now. They get on fine.
I've got a female and a burgeoning male, going on 4 months now. That's a short time, obviously, but they're getting along well. They're in a 90, and pal around with my yellow tang a good bit.

got 5 females, 1 male... The male is a little pushy, but they are cohabitating peacefully

I started out with 7 females and 1 male. I don't know what happened to 3 of the females, but now I am down to 4 females and 1 male. They are all doing fine, and there was no fighting that noticed in the beginning. It seems that I would go to bed at night and the next day 1 would be missing. This was about 3-4 months ago, so I am not adding anymore since they are OK now.

Thanks everybody. It seams that I should be good to add between 2 - 3 more.
