MH Bulb Question

Hi, I purchased a 36" SunPod 2x150w 14k DE HQI fixture last weekend. I noticed right away that one side of the MH fixture was slightly whiter than the other. So I figured, ok, must be crappy bulbs. So today I bought two new Helios 20K bulbs and installed them. Same thing! One bulb is whiter than the other but now it's on the opposite side. Is this normal? Are there no bulbs exactly the same color even if it's the exact same brand/model?
Will the bulbs eventually become the same color after time?

bulbs take hours to become their natural color, if there brand new bulbs, it will take time for them to adjust to there normal color temp...

also if you look at the specs it somtimes says to have the bulb at a particular angle, mine sits at a 15 degree angle to burn at full potential... of course i use hydro ponics bulbs...
