LumenMax and LumenArc Reflectors

Can someone tell me which one is better (the DE version)? Or are they basically the saem? Thanks.

lumenarcs or on SE , whereas the lumenmax are SE & DE models.

i would go with the lumenarcs though. i have two full size ones and a mini and absolutely love them. the coverage is awesome and they look like a space ship

i got the big ones from stealitback dot com for like 150 for a pair shipped. then i bought the mini from Reef Exotics. i think they have the best price.

they are darn schweet. two of them cover my 180 nicely. i am also gonna be using one to light my new frag tank that will be 3'x4'x1'.

Dont mean to revive this thread but.....Do you guys mount your LAIII's in a canopy ? Or would the mini's be the right choice for a canopy ? Does it matter ? Is heat an issue ?
