Rookie here and thanks in advance for the help:)

I will be setting up a 75 gallon and and putting nin a 30 gallon refugium. It seems to me that I shouldn't stock this too fast with algae eaters because it will be awhile till the LR in the maiin tank cycles thruogh. Am I wrong?

Also, what would you be sure to put in it and when? Thanks.

IMO, I'd hold of on any lifestock until cycle completes.

Thanks. good day Jcnflies, ye you need to wait until the tank cycles through the process and the stock the refugium. i would say 6 to 8 weeks and then test the water quality for ammonia,nitrite,nitrate,etc...then if everything looks ok go ahead and add all the critters and macro's to it, hope this helps...
