Ouo Or Uou Baffles?

for sump baffles , which is better? over under over / or / under over under. ive been reading posts on diy forum and this question kept coming up. every one had a different answer but they didnt say why. can anyone explain which way is better?

I have mine over, under, over. The last over is a shorter over than the first over, and I keep the water level above the level of the last baffle all the time. The last short baffle, in my case, is just to help separate some LR rubble from my return pump. So, I guess I really only have over then under.

After I installed my baffles, I read that under, over, under is better since microbubbles would need to sink twice in order to make it all the way through. With over, under, over they only need to sink once. If I ever build another sump, it'll be under, over, under.

I agree with the under over under. Makes much more sense to me. I am putting my sump together as we speak and thats what Im doing.
