Ok so I've moved my tank before from an apartment I was living in to the house I am currently living in. A big pain in the you know what but everything made it alright. Well now my lease is up on the house I am renting and I am looking to move back into an apartment. Would it be possible for me to live on a 2nd or 3rd floor? Or do I need to live on the first floor? I thought I would need to live on the bottom floor because of all the weight from the tank. When I lived in my other apt I lived on the 1st floor so it wasn't an issue. To give you an idea I have a 90 gallon tank with about 120# LR and 150# LS as well as a 10gallon fuge and 20/30 gallon sump. Thanks in advance!!!!

1st and foremost. CHECK WITH TH ENEW LAND LORD 1ST!!!
Then determin where the floor joyces are and which way they are running. You will have tp place the tank ACROSSES them with the joyces dividing the tank up length wise to split the weight.
Then youhave to know how large the joyces are and if they can support a 1,400 lb load spread acrossed thre of them or so.
Most will. Just check with the land lord. ;)
