can you add to much ca & alkalinity with Kalkwasser

if my tank is currently balanced for Ca and KH, 420 and 8-9 dKH respectively, can i use saturated Kalwasser for top off without worrying about to much?

will excess not just precipitate out? maybe a bit wasteful but not dangerous or is it?

It is possible for alkalinity to rise if you dose too much to the tank, but demand rises as the pH rises, so I'd start dosing and see what happens. pH usually gets too high before the other parameters become excessive.:)
