I got this Gigas from Neptunes Realm, most of you have seen it i'm sure. I have had my eye on it for a year or so now, today I bought it from todd. He gave me a great deal on it, I hope it does well in my tank. The tank is 4' x 8' long so hopefully it will not get bigger than that!
Its hard the tell the size but if you look to the right lower corner of the photo you see the squammy clam I got from deuce67 here on RC and its about 7 inches long, the new Gigas dwarfes it!
The total clam count is now at 10, I love clams can you tell ;)http://i16.photobucket.com/albums/b46/reefkoi/gigas.jpg

Yeah I know I need to get together with you guys, I just always seem to be gone on the weekends of a meeting, especially in the summer. I will try to hit the next one. As far as hosting, someday when the tank looks good, Its still a new tank and I'd hate to show it off till it starts to mature.

Nice! That squammy you got from me is tiny compared to the gigas.

thanks guys I have to give todd the credit for getting it where its at size wise and health wise, hopefully I can continue to improve it. It was pretty easy to move, I hauled it in a styro (it took up the box) and then slid it into the tank, pretty easy really. Moving the clam was a lot easier than say the huge colt I moved a few years back they just want to tear apart when you move them, clams are pretty easy. I know I will be scared for a while because they have a hard time adjusting to light changes, some can die in a day if not happy. I snapped the pic within minutes of putting it into the tank and so far it seems happy, I'll keep my fingers crossed.

Todd doesn't post on these forums...as a matter of fact no LFS owners from CS post here.
