How much sand

How much sand would I need for a 3" sandbed in a 90. I was looking at the Caribsea which is in 40lb bags and 1-2 mic size I think?

assuming your tank is 48x18 then about 135lbs. or a little over 3 bags.

for my 90 gallon tank i used 2 40lb bags and 3 20lb bags but my sand bed is about 4 or 5 inches. So id guess you want about 100 lbs or so for a 3 inch bed. just my .02
