id crab

hey i just found this crab looking in my tank.. very cool.. i just hope he is safe. can anyone id him for me?
looks whitish grey.
youll see my Nassarius Snail in the picture to give you an idea how small he is.

That article discusses some of the major groups of crabs. The picture is a bit blurry, but the body seems oval-ish, which would indicate a xanthid crab.

from what i read.. if it is xanthid. they are pretty destructive.. anyone had experince with these? should i take it out

I had one for about 3mos. without knowing it came on my liverock, get rid of it, they will be harmless until it's comfortable in the tank then it goes after corals. mine did some damage to my zoas and stars.
