Is it possible and would that be a good amount of light?

What kind of corals are you wanting to keep, that all depends on your lighting. Ya, it will work, I have 2X65 on my 10 gallon, Looks awesome, my corals love it.

I just want to be good with nearly everything, not into hard corals or clams.
I had the 4x65w on my 29, I have the two workhorse 5 ballasts and I can do 4x36 on them. So I just need to buy the bulbs. I'm going off to college and the biggest tank I can have is a 20. So I figured I use my already made 10 gallon sump and move stuff into a 10 gallon tank.
BTW, aren't the 65w bulbs way too long for a 10?

The fixture hangs over both sides about 1 1/2 or so, but I don't care about that. I have the coralife fixture 2X65.
