Allright i almost have enough for the skimmer. I cant decide which one to get, its a 75 g rr tank with a 30 gallon sump. i have narrowed down to the ASM G3 from asm skimmer , the ER 6-20 RS blem from h20 tropicals, or now im hearing about these reef octopusses and i have no idea what model to get. Any advice??? im looking to spend no more than 300.
thanks

so many skimmer and lighting questions they should almost each have their own forum lol.

I can vouch for the ASM. I have a G3 and it works fantastic.

you could get the octopus NW150 recirc model for 289, its rated for a 180g tank so I think you would be fine.

I have had a ASM and a ER blem and both worked great, although the quality of the ASM wasn't quite as good as the ER. The good news with these 3 skimmers is that you can't go wrong with any of them. You might also look for a used one to save a few bucks.

Good luck.
