hey,

I have an 80gal RR with sump and ASM G2 skimmer. I have an 2'' sandbed and 100lbs LR. As for livestock i was thinking.

1 Australian Tusk

1 copper banded butterfly

1 Goldentail moray

and a cleanup crew (for however long it last)

Would you add anything else to the tank or change something? thanks for any input.

skip the tusk . tusk's grow too large for an 80 gallon.

Is it FO, FOWLR, reef? If not a reef, I'd pick a hardier butterfly (copperbands are notoriously difficult but one of the most "reef safe" butterflies). How about an auriga or similar?

Tusks can be kept in a 55 gallon.

No offense to you or anyone for that matter but liveaquria's stocking opinions for fish are jack squat.

They say a porci puffer can be kept in a 90 gallon tank. For stocking, never take the advice of liveaquaria. You want to give fish room to "stretch" their fins.

I would think 150 gallons for a tusk to be comfortable and that is pshing it.

A tusk is not as bad as going with any butterfly fish for leave out the butterfly fish and the tusk keep until it grows not more then 5.5", but do leave out the butterfly ;)

I honestly think it would work out. Just introduce the tusk last and make him the smallest. They are not overly aggressive towards fish just towards small fish and inverts.
