I have a CPR Bakpak II. At the bottom, it has two square pieces of plastic glued on with screws in them. These help to level this when used as hang-on skimmer.

I am using this in-sump. I would prefer the bottom surface to be level. I can either remove these or glue to similarly sized pieces on the other edge to prevent tipping. I am not sure how to remove them safely. I made a poor attempt with pliers and thought i'd ask before I crack the acrylic. As for gluing to acrylic, can I use superglue if i'm not looking for leak-proofing?

THanks,

Do you own a router? If you do, and have a laminate-trimming bit, you can route it right off the bottom with ease.

This is the bit:

Nope, don't have one of those. Here's what i've got:

Jigsaw
Drill
Dremel
Plyers, etc.
Hands

Any other way?

You can glue something on the opposite side as you originally suggested. Super Glue Gel will work fine.

I'll do that. Thanks. :)
