I had bought this fish from a LFS and was told it was a "Bulldog Gobie". I'm actually looking for some information on this fish and can't find anything on a bulldog goby, would anyone happen to actually know a Latin Name or maybe if it is called something else? It's a beautiful fish but i don't know to much about it's species.

Priolepis nocturna... aka the Full moon goby or Grouper goby. The few I have seen trickle in seem to be at the max size of 1.5". I have found them to be fairly secretive living upside down in a cave. Once established I have only seen them come out to feed. Nice find by the way!

Around here they call them circus gobies.

JonTarutis is right on target.

wow o ok, thanx for the info everyone. Yeah actually i love this fish, i've been trying to get a good pic of him since i brought him home. He likes to hide in the back of my tank don't get to see him much but sometimes when i wake up hes up near the front so it's nice to not see him all the time. Kinda keeps it as something special. Thanks again everyone
