Lots of friends on here... I wish I could say I got something really cool and new other then a peacock(which is really cool) but I didn't because he was at the fish store for 3months while I eyed him up and set up my new system.

I figure for having to degrade the image quality by 1/2 they turned out pretty well.

cool mantis, I think starting out with a smaller peacock is the way to go. Is he pretty aggressive?. My 4 inch peacock is pretty chill for a
" peacock mantis "

Funny how that works. Pretty fish go like hot cakes, but gorogous manits can stay for a while.

yeah its a shame. I think it has to do with that fact that alot of people do not know what a mantis shrimp is, and alot of people do not know how to go about caring for one.

I think a lot of people also see them as pests who reek havoc on aquariums. When I was looking for a mantis at the lfs I had a few of the clerks ask me why I would want one.

BTW, cool mantis!

He has been good for the most part but him and his reflection had a run in when he past by my thermometer... the refection lost and I'm just going to trust the temp is fine.

You could try a digital thermometer.
