Can this be fixed easily?

I was pulling it out of my tiny sump and inadvertantly pulled to hard or something and the whole seal came off along with a little bit of the plastic!! I guess this is what I get for running an ASM G-1 on a 30 gallon setup (20 long, and 14 gallon sump that is same as 20 long only a bit shorter lengthwise).

Is this fixable or am I going to have to buy a new skimmer?

Thanks.

Is that where the pump connects to the body of the skimmer?

Try getting some Weld-on.. either 3, 4, or 16. Stick the piece where it goes and glob it around the seam.

xtrstangx,

Yeah that is where the pump connects.

I knew I could count on you! Lol! You are in everyone of my threads lately, which is a good thing!

Okay so some Weld-on, can this be gotten at home depot?

Home Depot? Not likely.

I suppose you could either go with Super Glue Gel. It would hold it OK since it doesn't matter if it leaks a little bit, it just needs to hold the body. You can get this at Home Depot.

The Weld-on you'd have to try local plastics shop or maybe have to order it online. http://usplastics.com should have it if you wanna go that route.

I try to get as many threads as I can.. most of them I don't bother with if people don't use decent english...
