You don't list your alkalinity, which, imho, is the first of all tests---8.3 to 11 is good. Your ph is just a very little low. Your calcium is ok but still low in the acceptable range---420 would be better. Your magnesium is a little high.

I think it requires just a little adjustment in alkalinity and calcium, and do get an alkalinity test. Salifert is a good brand.

Your alk is a little low. I'd work on slowly raising it to 9dkh. As far as pe goes check to see if they come out at night after lights have been out for awhile. Add any fish lately? Could be you got a nipper.

We may need a little more info...to get a correct anwser...yes ALK is a suspect....could be a # of things combined....

How long have you had this piece? Growing well previous to this?
Ever looked for red bugs?

Glad to try to help out....

Your calcium and alk levels you have are not going to prevent the coral from PE. Your mg is high, 1250 would be better.

If you just put the coral in a week ago, it may just take a little time to adjust.

What level do you have the coral at? The lighting IMO is not enough for a low placement.

thanks for the replies !

- no red bugs
- 2 tunze 6060, maxijet 1000,and 2 x 500lt another powerhead for the flow
- acro is placed middle
- no nippers i think (4 chromis, 1 cardinal, 1 alg eater blenny)
- i put this acro 9-10 days ago
- i cant say its growing because its about 2 weeks and icant see any growth
- but the tips are whiter when i put it in the tank after two weeks tips are more brown

is it because of light only ?, one more same MH fix the problem if the problem is only the light?

You could definitely stand to add another light, but I doubt thats the cause of no PE after 10 days. You've got a shield over thay DE mh bulb, right? May be a stupid question but that would result in a case of pouting polyps syndrome.

yes ofcourse there is a shield but you see the picture there is no polyps seen

i cant understand that
