nikon 5700 / ikelite housing / ikelite substrobe 50
obviously setup for macro photography. waiting to win the lotto so i can invest the $2k for wide angle photography with the same camera.

I have a Nikon E8700...I wonder if it's similar to yours in functions? If so, maybe if I ever see you at a meeting you could show me some tricks. I can't figure this thing out and I hate reading manuals!
Again, the shots are beautiful.

Beautiful pics. How close were you to the green moray?

chris,
don't remember exactly, and its pretty hard to estimate distance while you are down there, but the general rule of UW macro photography is when you think you are close enough, get closer. if i had to guess i would say less than 5 feet.
michelle,
not sure about the E8700. if its the same as the coolpix 8700, the camera is nearly identical to mine and i think w2 owns the exact camera as you do. i'm sure we could give you a few pointers :)
Wow! Awesome pics Henry!! (and David) Looks like you finally had a trip without any camera snafu's.
Nice variety of pics, but I especially love all the little critters you discovered.

Yeah, Henry, mine is the CoolPix model. That's awesome that there are Nikon owners here who can teach me how to use the stupid thing. It has so many functions, I think it would wash my car if I could just figure out how to tell it what to do!
