Which pump would you reccomend me to use as an inlet pump for my Koralin 1502 calcium reactor.

Can I use my Maxijett 1200, or is this too strong?

I use a MJ 1200 to power a phsphate reactor and Tee off a line for the Korallin reactor. I don't think that much water is needed as the effluent of the reactor is just a few drops. An MJ 1200 would be overkill in my opinion as well as excess electricity usage. Perhaps you could find an outlet to Tee off of a powerhead or other pump. HTH

Can I use the maxijett 1200 and slow down the pressure of the water by attaching a small gate valve or something?

I'm sure you can. I 'tee-off' my skimmer feed pump and run both my TLF reactors and my Ca Reactor from that feed (with in inline valves to dial-back the feeds to each). You don't need much water running through the reactor given the fact that it's coming out in drips.
