I was looking for the straight pin 65 watt PC 10,000 k bulbs. The item you described was the square pin.

jdoenumber2,

Thank you for your post. We do apologize that we gave you the numbers for the square pin bulbs. The only bulb in a straight pin that we offer is in a 55 watt. We do offer both the actinic and the sunlight in this size. Here is a link for them http://www.drsfostersmith.com/product/prod_display.cfm?pcatid=8070&Ntt=55%20watt%20straight%20pin&Ntk=All&Ntx=mode+matchallpartial&Np=1&pc=1&N=0&Nty=1 These bulbs can be used as replacements for the 65 watt fixture. Again, we do apologize for any inconvenience.

Sincerely,

Stacie R

jdoenumber2,

Thank you for your post. With regards to your question these bulbs are quite alike with just different manufacturers. It is a personal preference as to what bulb you choose. Some reef hobbyists do like to stick with certain manufacturers. We do hope this information is beneficial to you. If we can be of any further assistance please contact us at 1-800-334-3699 (8am -10pm cst), PM or e-mail us at [email protected]
