How big does a

Cephalopholis miniatus (grouper) get? I am looking at getting one for a 125 to put in with a eel, and am wondering if anyone has some pics of theirs or some feedback on the fishes temperment. Thanks alot. Steve

well i have never personally owned one but love them. I have heard of them getting between 12" - 16" long. I believe (I may not be right) but they are not boisterous or just out right aggressive toward. unless they are fish they can eat or rivals

these guys get big, over a foot and a half and they are mean. I had a juvenile 4" that killed and ate a full grown purple tang. unless you have a highly aggressive tank then I would leave this one out. gorgeous fish though.

It is going in with a 3 foot Dragon Moray from Japan and a pair of cross hatch triggers. I am guessing it will fare ok as will the other tankmates as they are either the same size or larger. Anyone know if it will be agressive twoards hands in the tank. LOL I like to keep fingers.
