Hello all. Name is Nick and just wanted to say hello to everyone and share my tank. Fairly new to the hobby and new to this board. Hope I can gather and provide great info for and from others on this site. Thanks everyone.....No fish yet due to battle with ICK in which I lost....Just a coupke more weeks and good to go again!

And before someone may ask...the purple sea godesses are no longer with me... Were pretty much an impulse buy to please my wife because she loves them but I know they cannot survive in an aquarium for very long.. And although if they die and do release toxins I don't want to risk them damaging any of my corals... I got enough $$$ invested in this tank so far.

I leanred the hard way that patience is truly the biggest factor in this hobby!

Thanks again all and enjoy!

Nick

how long have you been able to keep your gonipora (flower pot coral), just curious because i have no luck with them, maybe you have some secrets to keeping them.

So far I have kept my green goniopora for 1.5 months and the white/yellow for 1 month... Neither has given any indication thus far on melt down. Let's hope it continues to work out well but I am totally aware of the lifespan!

It's a purple gogorian, When the polyps aren't out it's entirely purple but am personally fond of the way it looks in full bloom. :)

Thank you much... I would actually be interested but I am going tomorrow for a dentist appointment regarding a wisdom tooth removal and implant insertion so I will be crying for mommy tomorrow night unfortunately.:eek2: ;)

I will contact you soon enough for further info... Thanks again!
