Can i use this sand???????????

I have this sand and the box says;

Calcium Substrate- Calcium Carbonate

my brother in-law owned a reptile store and in cleaning out his shed this weekend he found this 100lb box.
The sand is very white.

...it fizzes like crazy in vinegar.


What do you think??
