I'm posting this up here because ultimately, should I part with these fish, I want them to go to a marine breeder who's interested in working with them.
I REALLY don't want to ship these guys 'cause I don't have 02 on hand, but due to their unwillingness to pair back up in my cramped quarters AND the fact that they seem to be mowing down my octocorals, is anyone interested in a probable pair of E. graveri?
They spawned twice before deciding to not get along following our move...only got eggs, never larvae. They are being maintained seperately but in contact (i.e. the larger of the 2 is in a breeder net). Since I don't have a place for them (i.e. a non-reef or a larger tank) I'm considering parting with them. I love 'em and would like to see them go to someone willing to continue breeding efforts with them (would happily throw in a starter culture of the SS Rotifers). Do a search for graveri to see earlier threads for pics of them with eggs. Again, I want to stress that I am not 100% sure this is a male/female pair, but I KNOW there is at least 1 female (because of the eggs) and I suspect there is a male (the larger one who was guarding the eggs).
Make an offer if you're local or otherwise willing to make the drive! Not 100% sure I want to part with them but I AM thinking it's probably a good idea at this point...
Willing to trade for a 10 gallon w/heater and glass lid + MICROSCOPE :) - again, this is a feeler's post - PM me if you're interested and we'll talk!
