Ballast Question

Thinking of getting 4 lamp 72 inch retro kit total ,watts 660 VHO ,would it wise to use one ballast for the whole set up or use 2 ballasts and split or even increase the wattage not sure which is for the better input please

on a 6' setup two ballasts are going to be the most common option, not many single ballasts can handle 24' of bulb.
