I had 4 golf ball size turbos in my 55. My biggest problem was the avalanche issue. No matter how secure I tried to make my rockwork...the big turbos could rearrange it and my corals. I finally returned them and got a bunch of smaller snails, I was afraid of them knocking a big rock into the glass and causing a tank wall to shatter. But I miss them. If I graduate to a bigger tank, I will get them again.

I have 3 that size. But I have seen some the size of soft balls at my lfs. It is to funny when they come in they don't last very long.

I've got a zebra about 2.5" across, he's HUGE. As long as frags are glued down or wedged into the rockwork these guys won't knock them over IME. They're incredible algae-eaters; the only snails (other than the little Collonistas) in my 65g are two zebra turbos that I added a couple weeks ago. The back wall was GREEN, now all I see is coralline. They've cleaned everything up, and now I'm feeding them dried seaweed to keep them fat & happy :)

I've got 2 1" turbos. Never hadn any problem with them knocking things over. However I started out with 4 and 2 died mysteriously shortly after purchase.

I saw a few in a fish store in Orlando that were about the size of baseballs. MASSIVE snails.
