Isn't that Odontodactylus scyallarus (peacock mantis)? Looks like it to me...

Pandora, yes, that is a peacock from what I can tell. I just saw some more pics at www.canreef.com.
I just pre-ordered one from the same source as Darren's, and was quoted in the $30.00-$40.00 range (canadian)

It is a female Odontodactylus scyllarus a.k.a Peacock, harlequin, or painted mantis shrimp.

Roy, how do you know this? coloration? or...

Coloration mostly, but also,large males have slightly larger raptorial appendages.

By the time males get this large, they usually have a fairly green color. Females remain more olive or brown. That doesn't mean that males can't fade, but large males fresh from the field are usually green.
