Hi all,
I have found a small O.S, about 1.5 or 2" and was wondering how long, if at all, would it live happily and safely in a 12 gallon aquapod. This will be my first mantis so i'm rather green at the ins and outs of the various species. Thanks for the advice!

How come i can never find a small O.S.?! Anyway, he should be fine for a little bit. But i would upgrade as soon as possible.

I've actually been looking for a G. Smithii with no luck. I don't think i would be able to upgrade untill after the holidays, would that be to long? Thanks for the response Crawling68.

Are you sure it is an O.s. This is remarkably small for one to appear in a LRS. If it is an O.s, it will be at least a year before you would have to move it to 20.

I just called the LFS to double check that it was an O.s and it appears that it has been sold. It was an O.s but it was 2.5 to 3" the first person i talked to apparently didn't have an eye for measurments. My search will continue, thanks for the replys though.

took me forever to find a O.S for some reason, i found one at Fishsupply.com. After shipping it gets a bit pricey though.
