As the title states, I'm wondering if zoanthids are ok for a fairly new tank. Can they be kept under PC lighting, and do they have any special feeding/other care needs? thanks

also, do they spread out of control in a reef?

you have to have good water parameters for zoas as for all corals...
they grow but very very slow....
i feed mine but i would think that with good flow and good light they should do fine...

Zoanthids, like most of the zooxanthellate soft corals, seem to be easy to grow. They aren't picky about lighting, as far as I can tell.
