What are the advantages of having a refugium on a fowlr tank? I am planning on setting up my 72 gal bow front as a salt water fish only tank maybe down the road adding some corals. I know i want a lion fish and trigger. Probly a few others (suggestions welcome) I have a wet dry with a mag 7. Will get a protien skimmer (not sure what kind yet) But is a refuge a need to have or is it a waste of time? Is my setup ok? Any suggestions?
